An accountant is responsible for all financial functions related to the collection, recording, analysis, accuracy and presentation of a business. Their role is usually of an administrative nature and may primarily focus on the collection of financial data, entry and report generation. They might also be in charge of communicating with third parties like government offices, financial institutions, customers and/or vendors.
